What is Body Therapy?
Body Therapy is a holistic treatment that meets you where you are. It is designed to re-balance your nervous system and bridge the gap between your mind, body, and emotions.
Body and mind are not separate; they work as one. When the body releases, the mind often follows. What you feel mentally affects your body, and what your body holds shapes your inner state.
Many of us have become disconnected from our bodies. Whether you're facing a specific issue or simply feel out of balance, we work together to release what's held.
While rooted in ancient practices, my work follows the modern Danish approach, focused on treating the whole person, not just symptoms.
By releasing stored tension, we restore a sense of unity, so your body and mind can feel at ease together. This is more than relaxation it goes deeper than massage and beyond talk therapy.
How can Body Therapy support you?
Restoring the Nervous System (The "Inner Reset"):
- Stress and burnout: switch off the constant "on" mode
- Anxiety and panic: feel grounded and safe again
- ADHD: calm an overstimulated system
- Sleep issues: shift from doing to deep rest
- High sensitivity: regulate in a calm, supportive space
Releasing Physical Tension (The "Body Shield"):
- Desk-related tension: release chest, neck, and spine
- Muscle pain: release stored "armor" through breath and movement
- Jaw tension and headaches: ease pressure from chronic stress
- Digestive tension: soften stress held in the gut

I'm not comfortable sharing my feelings. Do I have to talk?
Not at all. While we start with a short conversation to connect, you only share what you feel like sharing.
Your body carries the story of the life you have lived, the stress, the "masking," and the periods of surviving.
Your body communicates what words don't need to. You only share what feels right.
What happens during a session?
After our initial check-in, you will lie on a treatment table. While you focus on your breath, I use a combination of:
- Pulsation: A rhythmic movement to identify and release blockages
- Stretches & Joint Release: To create space where there is tightness
- Meditative Massage: To soothe the nervous system
The goal: a deep reset, leaving you lighter, calmer, and more connected.
What should I wear?
Your comfort is the priority. You will be in your underwear during the session, with careful draping to keep you comfortable and at ease.
I recommend wearing soft, comfortable clothing like a T-shirt and leggings or shorts so you can move and breathe freely.
How is this different from coaching or massage?
While massage focuses on muscle relaxation and coaching focuses on the mind, Body Therapy works directly with the nervous system.
It's for those who feel they are "going in circles", aware they need a change but are unable to make it happen through thought alone.
We work to remove the "shield" you've built up over years so you can finally be set free from what drains you.
How many sessions will I need?
A single session can offer a powerful "reset" and open up immediate blockages.
For deeper, lasting change, especially after long periods of stress, a series of five or more sessions is recommended.
